Pico-Laser Skin Rejuvenation in gilbert Arizona

Renew Your Skin’s Radiance with Pico-Laser Skin Rejuvenation

Does your skin need a refresh? Limitless TRT & Aesthetics now offers the revolutionary Pico-Laser Skin Rejuvenation treatment at our Gilbert, AZ clinic. This popular procedure rejuvenates and renews your skin, providing a youthful, radiant appearance without the need for surgery or invasive techniques.

How It Works

Pico-Laser Skin Rejuvenation is a cutting-edge, non-surgical, and non-invasive laser skin treatment. Utilizing ultra-short pulses of laser energy, this treatment targets and breaks down skin imperfections at the cellular level, promoting natural healing and collagen production.

Pico-lasers use time pulsations to deliver highly precise and specifically targeted laser beams to the treatment area. Next, the pico-lasers deliver highly concentrated energy to each target particle. These low-energy wavelengths effectively remove specific colors, erasing hyperpigmentation like brown spots and freckles. They can even be used to remove tattoos

Combining high-speed laser delivery with low-energy wavelengths makes pico-lasers a much safer alternative to other laser skin treatments on the market. Due to the pico-laser’s precision, non-pigmented (or surrounding) skin is protected, resulting in better outcomes. Best of all, the pico-laser doesn’t use heat or damage the outer layer of skin, like many other laser skin treatments that leave you feeling sunburned or scabby for days or weeks afterward.

Before undergoing Pico-Laser Skin Rejuvenation, you’ll schedule a consultation with our experienced professionals. During this consultation, your skin type and concerns will be assessed to ensure the treatment is tailored to your specific needs. We recommend you avoid excessive sun exposure and certain skincare products before your session.

During the Procedure

The treatment itself is quick and virtually painless. The laser emits rapid pulses of energy to target problem areas, which may cause a slight tingling sensation. Most sessions last between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

One of the key benefits of Pico-Laser Skin Rejuvenation is the minimal downtime. Post-treatment, you may experience slight redness or swelling, which typically subsides within a few hours to a couple of days. It’s important to follow post-care instructions provided by our team, including using sunscreen and avoiding harsh skincare products.

After-Care Instructions

  1. Skin Care: Keep the treated area clean and moisturized. Use a gentle cleanser and avoid scrubbing.

  2. Sun Protection: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 daily. Avoid direct sun exposure.

  3. Avoid Irritants: Steer clear of harsh skin care products, including those with retinoids, glycolic acid, or alcohol.

  4. Healing: Do not pick at scabs or peeling skin. Let them heal naturally.

  5. Activity: Avoid strenuous activities that cause excessive sweating for the first 48 hours.

  6. Follow-Up: Attend all scheduled follow-up appointments with your provider.

Contact your healthcare provider if you notice any signs of infection or unusual side effects.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is There Any Downtime?

Pico-Laser Skin Rejuvenation requires minimal downtime. Most patients experience only mild redness or swelling, allowing them to return to their normal activities shortly after treatment.

How Much Does It Cost?

The cost of Pico-Laser Skin Rejuvenation varies based on the treatment area and individual needs. During your consultation, we will provide a customized treatment plan and discuss pricing options, though the cost of Pico-Laser therapy will typically range between $300 and $1000.

How Many Treatments Are Needed?

The number of treatments needed depends on the skin condition and desired results. We generally recommend a series of 3 to 5 sessions for optimal outcomes. Depending on your skincare concern, you may opt to repeat a short series of treatments 6 months to a year after your initial series.

Is It Safe?

Yes, Pico-Laser Skin Rejuvenation is a safe and FDA-approved treatment. While all medical procedures carry some risks, pico-laser has very few serious risks, and these occur infrequently.

Unlike traditional lasers, the pico-laser uses gentle bursts of energy to target damaged tissue without harming the surrounding skin. It stimulates the body’s natural healing response, producing new collagen and elastin, and promotes skin renewal by eliminating damaged and pigmented skin.

One general risk associated with laser treatments is the potential for long-term skin discoloration after the procedure. Consequently, individuals with lighter skin tend to face fewer risks with laser skin treatments than those with darker skin, as they have less pigment overall before the procedure. Nevertheless, people with darker skin can still safely undergo a pico-laser skin treatment after a thorough consultation.

How Long Do the Effects Last?

Acne scar results are permanent! And skin revitalization results are also long-lasting. While some skin discoloration may recur, many patients find that a pico-laser treatment every six months helps maintain an even skin tone and slows the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Keep in mind that, like any treatment, the longevity of the results varies based on individual skin conditions and maintenance. Many patients enjoy long-lasting improvements with proper skincare and occasional touch-up treatments.

PICO (Skin Rejuvenation) Pre/Post Treatment

  • Confirm that you are not currently on any photosensitizing medications. Accutane must be discontinued for at least 6 to 12 months prior to laser treatments. Other photosensitive medications, including antibiotics, will need to be avoided before and during the duration of laser treatments.

  • Inform your technician if there are any changes in your initial medical/medication history to enable accurate updates of your secure and confidential file

  • Neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport or similar) or fillers should be administered post-treatment or a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your treatment for neurotoxins and 4 weeks prior for fillers

  • Please let us know about any recent sun exposure to the area being treated. Avoid unprotected sun exposure, tanning beds and self-tanning creams for a minimum of 2 to 4 weeks prior to your appointment and for at least one week after the final treatment.

  • Apply a broad-spectrum (UVA/UVB) mineral sunblock of SPF 50 whenever the area being treated is exposed to the sun.

  • Ensure you inform your technician if you have a history of hyperpigmentation. In this case you may be prescribed a topical lightening cream to be applied for 2-4 weeks prior to treatment.

  • Vitamin A or retinol products must be discontinued for a minimum of 3-5 days prior to facial laser treatments and 3-5 days after treatment.

  • Using a good skin care regime at home can help to prep your skin for the upcoming treatment.

  • Heat from certain treatments may trigger cold sores. If you are prone to cold sores (herpes) in the area to be treated, you may need an anti-viral prescription from a medical doctor prior to having the treatment. Laser treatments cannot be performed during herpes breakouts, if in the treatment area.

Expectations following Laser Treatments:

  • Treated area may feel like a sunburn for a few hours, use a cold compress if needed

  • Redness and swelling may take 24-48 hours to resolve

  • Avoid exercising, hot tubs, or anything else that could cause excess heat or perspiration to the treated area for 24 hours following treatmen

  • Gently cleanse the skin and avoid any scrubs or active ingredients for a minimum of 3 days

  •  Always apply a broad-spectrum (UVA/UVB) mineral sunscreen of SPF 30, or higher, daily (physical sunscreen SPF 50 is recommended for the face) or whenever area is exposed to the sun, during and after the course of treatment

  • Mineral makeup (recommended) may be applied after the treatment, ensuring a physical sunscreen of at least SPF 30 (SPF 50 recommended) is under your makeup

  • It is imperative to avoid direct and/or unprotected sun exposure, including tanning beds and self-tanning lotions, to reduce the possibility of hyper or hypo pigmentation (dark or light spots). Skin that has been exposed to the sun cannot be treated with a laser for at least 2-4 weeks, as melanin in the skin becomes activated and increases risks for burns and pigmentation changes
